Understanding Verification Tiers
Every property listing on MontenegroHousing can be checked against Montenegro's official cadastre records. Here's what each verification level means.
Tier 0 — Not yet verified
Listing submitted by an agent. Cadastre check has not been performed yet. Treat all information as seller-provided until verified.
Tier 1 — Parcel found
The cadastral parcel exists in Montenegro's official records. Ownership and encumbrance details could not be retrieved at the time of verification, often due to temporary service delays. Re-verification often resolves this.
Tier 2 — Cadastre verified
Parcel location confirmed against Geoportal records. Ownership and registered encumbrances confirmed against eKatastar. This is our standard verified level.
Tier 3 — Fully verified, Premium
Tier 2 plus parcel boundary polygon and re-verification within the last 30 days. Highest trust level on MontenegroHousing.
How we verify
We connect to Montenegro's official cadastre services to confirm property records. Only public information is collected — no private buyer or financial data.

- Periodic re-checks: ensure information stays current
